Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

At Artisanal Candle Co., we take great care in crafting and packaging each candle. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy


1. Returns

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • The product must be unused, unburned, and in original condition
  • The product must be returned in its original packaging
  • Return request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery

Due to the nature of our products, used or burned candles are not eligible for return.


2. Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • Order ID
  • Clear images of the product and packaging

Once verified, we will offer:

  • Replacement (preferred), or
  • Full refund

3. Refunds

  • Refunds are processed only after the returned product is received and inspected
  • Approved refunds will be initiated within 2–5 business days
  • The amount will be credited to the original payment method only (Razorpay)

Please note:

  • It may take 5–10 working days for the refund to reflect in your account depending on your bank (Razorpay)

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placing the order
  • Once the order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Used or partially burned candles
  • Products purchased during clearance or sale
  • Customized or made-to-order products

6. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Return shipping costs must be borne by the customer (unless product is defective or incorrect)

8. Important Notes

  • Refunds can only be initiated by the business; payment gateways like Razorpay do not process refunds directly for customers (Razorpay)
  • Refunds are always credited back to the original payment source (card/UPI/bank) (Razorpay)
