Walk into any superstore in India and you’ll find a shelf of candles, priced at ₹99, shrink-wrapped in plastic, lined up like identical soldiers. Pick one up. Smell it. It’s fine. But then — light one of ours. Something shifts.
That shift is not marketing. It’s craft. And understanding the difference is exactly why thousands of discerning Indian homes are making the switch from mass-produced to artisanal, hand-poured luxury candles — and never looking back.
Most candles available at large retail chains across India are made from paraffin wax — a petroleum by-product. When burned, paraffin releases toluene and benzene, the same compounds found in diesel exhaust. In enclosed Indian homes, where incense and candles are frequently lit for ambiance and prayer, this matters more than most people realise.
Our candles are crafted from 100% natural soy wax and coconut wax — renewable, biodegradable, and completely non-toxic. They burn cleaner, produce minimal soot, and are safe for your family, your puja room, and your pets.
Soy & coconut wax — clean burning, zero petroleum, zero black soot.
Lead-free, wood or braided cotton wicks for an even, mushroom-free burn.
Phthalate-free fragrance oils and pure essential oils. No synthetic shortcuts.
Each candle is poured in small batches. No machine can replicate this care.
When a large factory produces a “sandalwood” candle, they use the cheapest synthetic approximation of sandalwood they can source. The result is a flat, one-note smell that disappears within minutes of lighting. It’s a caricature of a fragrance.
Our artisan perfumers build fragrances the way a classical Indian musician builds a raga — with layers, with intention, with a beginning, a middle, and a lingering end. Our Mysore Sandalwood & Vetiver opens with warm wood, deepens into earthy vetiver, and leaves a trail of soft musk that stays with you long after the candle is out.
This is what the luxury candle industry calls throw — and ours is exceptional, because we use up to 12% fragrance load in every pour, compared to the industry-standard 6% in mass-market candles.

In Indian culture, the act of gifting is deeply intentional. Whether it’s a Diwali hamper, a housewarming present, a corporate gift, or a wedding favour — what you give reflects who you are. A handcrafted luxury candle says: I chose this with care. I chose quality. I chose you.
Our candles arrive in handcrafted gift boxes, with a wax seal, a personalised message card, and ribbons in colours drawn from Indian festive palettes — deep ruby, forest green, ivory and gold. They require no extra wrapping. They are, themselves, the gift.
We deliver across India — Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and beyond — with express options available for last-minute celebrations.
We hear it sometimes: “But a candle for ₹799? I can get one for ₹150.” And yes, you can. You can also buy a machine-stitched kurta for ₹300, or one handwoven in Chanderi for ₹3,000. Both cover you. Only one carries a story.
A ₹150 candle burns for 25 hours. Ours burns for 50. The cost per hour of ambiance? Almost identical. But the experience — the fragrance, the clean burn, the beautiful vessel you’ll repurpose as a vase or a storage jar long after the wax is gone — is incomparable.
Luxury is not excess. Luxury is the decision to choose better.
Every candle we make is conceptualised, crafted, and poured in India. Our fragrances are inspired by Indian botanicals — aged oud from Assam, jasmine from Madurai, tuberose from Tamil Nadu, the monsoon-petrichor of the Western Ghats. We source our soy wax from certified sustainable farms and our glass vessels from local artisan glassmakers.
When you buy from us, you’re not just buying a candle. You’re supporting a small, independent Indian brand that believes in doing things right — slowly, carefully, beautifully.
